Bridge150 is a 150 day festival celebrating the creativity and ingenuity of bridge engineering, in the lead up to the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in December. Keep up to date with what’s happening by visiting the events section.

Bridge150 is is brought to you by the Architecture Centre, supported by the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Ingenious Fund, and produced in collaboration with the Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust.

Highlights of the programme include:
  •        A major exhibition at the Architecture Centre and then touring
  •        Programme of bridge-related walks/ferry tour, talks and debates
  •        Family activities and resources
  •        Design Challenge Day to encourage girls into engineering careers
  •        Schools resources
  •      Opportunities to interact and share online.

A key element of the programme is working with a group of engineer ‘expert volunteers’, who are all donating their time to the project in order to share their passion for engineering and encourage people to get involved.
